Mexico: Expert states there is lack of social security education in the country

The president of the Representative Committee of Social Security Agencies (CROSS), Javier Juarez Ocoténcatl, said that there is a lack of social security education in the country and a need for more capacity building in this matter for the employers. Visiting Querétaro, the national representative of CROSS stated that the universal pension and the unemployment insurance are two viable schemes in the country, for they do not cause any burden to the Mexican State. However, in order to benefit the working class, these social security schemes - which have already been approved - must be known and disseminated.
