A workspace is a place where you can share ideas, information and resources with either a limited or a large group of people (e.g. a project team, colleagues, training attendants, the whole GESS network…etc.).
Workspaces allow you to:
- create a working group by defining a member list with different levels of rights (administrator, member or user)
- share and disseminate information at different levels of confidentiality
- work by distance and make a project move forward by exchanging documents, drafting texts in the wiki, and sharing information through news items or discussion lists via G-Forum
- consult the list and the homepages of other workspaces
Please note that in order to create a workspace you have to first subscribe to GESS. Your workspace will be displayed in the workspace list only once the GESS administration has validated it.
