Description

The project aims to increase the capacity of the Government to generate and use evidence of positive impact of social protection, including cash-transfers, on socio-economic resilience of the most vulnerable population so as to influence increase in domestic budget allocations for those programmes. The Project will also invest in the development of evidence on the potential role of social protection within the wider Cambodia social and economic development strategy.

At the same time the project also aims at increasing the capacity of civil society organisations and trade unions to engage jointly with relevant stakeholders on the NSPPF, and in line with the new Social Accountability framework of the RGC.
