The National Health Insurance Verification Guideline was developed, and it was endorsed by the Minister of Health in September 2020. The guideline will contribute to transparency in the financial management of the national health insurance and health care facilities by collecting and analyzing the data to support the calculation of health care service costs in an accurate and timely manner and ensure the quality of both fund management and hospital services as well as the satisfaction of the insured members.ILO's contribution to the outcome
The ILO provided technical and financial support to the development of verification guideline. The technical support included inputs to the design of the guideline and financial support to organize two meetings with central and provincial stakeholders to discuss and finalize the guideline, and the training on the use of guideline for two southern provinces.Gender equality & non-discrimination
Women have been the priority in the cash transfer for mother and early childhood programme. Women constitutes more than 80% of garment workers who received the wage subsidies.
