NSSF implemented an awareness and communication campaign
Outcome achieved
The NSSF invested its resources to produce a number of communication tools to support the education and awareness campaign of the social security schemes to its members.
ILO's contribution to the outcome
With support from the Government of Republic of Korea and UNDESA, in 2018-2019 the ILO provided technical assistance during the production of the NSSF communication tools and the plan to strengthen and create mechanisms for employer and worker’s organizations on social protection coordination for their members. The ILO provided technical and financial assistance to organise one final consultation with employers and workers on 25 March 2019 for 45 participants.
International Labour Standard
Social Security principles and standards, i.e. Convention 102 and Recommendation 202 were integrated into the draft law on social security where necessary.
Social dialogue
Social Partners were consulted and participated in the design of the communication tools of the NSSF (info. pack, animation videos on work injury and health insurance).
