Outcome summary

The management information system of the national social registry was improved

Outcome achieved

In December 2021, the government through the National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office (NASSCO) improved the management information system of the national social registry including monitoring and evaluation. NASSCO developed a framework for data integration as basis for process flow of databases on poor and vulnerable households. This has resulted in increased coordination through interoperability with other databases within the social protection sector.

ILO's contribution to the outcome

In addition, ILO supported NASSCO through the engagement of a consultant to develop a process flow for defining linkages between the Unified Registry of Beneficiaries (URB) and Rapid Response Registry (RRR) database as a sub-set of the National Social Registry (NSR), developing harmonized checklists and synthesize the databases to establish interoperability and integration. ILO provided financial support for key activities of the project, such as National Social Registration handbook launch and dissemination event, training on gender and social inclusion and production of communication and visibility items.
