The Policy was developed through active participation of the Social Partners who are members of the National Social Protection Platform. Workers and employers representatives participated in the policy development and consultation workshops. The NSPP, prior to submission to Cabinet, was reviewed and approved by the Labour Advisory Board, composed of 5 Workers, 5 Employers and 5 Government representatives.
ILO's contribution to the outcome
ILO supported the National Social Protection Platform which permitted to organize policy development consultative workshops at federal and regional levels. RBSA funding has contributed to supporting this work and to the achievement of the reported results
