International Conference: The challenges of social protection in the BRICS and beyond, 19th November, Paris, France

An international conference on "The challenges of social protection in the BRICS and beyond" is to be held at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris, France from 13:30 to 17:30 on Monday 19^th November.  The conference - jointly organized by the French Prime Minister’s Centre d’analyse stratégique (CAS), the Social Security Department of the International Labour Office (ILO) and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Public Interest Group on Health and Social Protection in the International Arena (GIP SPSI) – will seek to address two key questions:

1. What is the role of international cooperation in implementing National Social Protection Floors?
2. What forms of labour market regulation will lead to inclusive growth?
