Bolsa Família and Household Labour Supply

This article presents an estimation done about the Brazilian cash transfer programme called Bolsa Família.

In order to estimate the programme impact on the sectorial allocation of labour by area (urban and rural), it compares the household labour supply, including participation in the labour force and the number of hours worked in both formal and informal sectors.
