The Medical and Sickness Benefits Convention, 1969 (No.130) is a revision of the Sickness Insurance Conventions of 1927. The Convention provides rules governing national legislations protecting employees through the provision of medical care of curative or preventive nature and through the provision of sickness benefits. By November 2008, 15 countries have ratified the Convention.
