Summary (English)

The mission of the Financial Literacy Center is to develop and test innovative programs to improve financial literacy and promote informed financial decisionmaking.

With support from the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Financial Literacy Center was launched in October 2009 by the RAND Corporation, Dartmouth College, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The Center is an innovative, non-partisan multidisciplinary research and development (R&D) initiative to develop products to better inform the public about key financial literacy topics related to retirement savings and planning.
