Summary (English)

This ‘Fiduciary II’ report is a follow up to the landmark report, A Legal Framework for the Integration of Environmental, Social and Governance Issues Into Institutional Investment, published by UNEP FI in 2005 and known as the ‘Freshfields Report.’ Taking into account the key legal findings and recommendations within Part I of this report,
as well as the 2005 Freshfields Report, the authors collectively call for a set of actions, as they believe these will magnify the extent to which responsible investment is demanded by the capital markets.
