NHA is an internationally recognized methodology for tracking all financial resource flows in the health care system of a given entity. L'établissement de comptes nationaux de la santé permet d'obtenir des données qui servent à suivre l'évolution des dépenses en santé dans un pays.Il fournit des informations fiables sur le montant, l'origine et l'utilisation des ressources financières consacrées à la santé afin d'élaborer des politiques de nature à améliorer les performances des systèmes de santé. Les informations obtenues peuvent servir à faire des projections financières concernant les besoins du système de santé d'un pays.
