Workers in the cultural and creative sector often lack effective access to social protection. The type of contractual arrangements and the organization of work prevalent in the cultural and creative sector may impact the coverage of their workers and the adequacy of the benefits they receive. This brief presents strategies for the extension of social security to the sector.
