Summary (English)

This survey was conducted by the Ministry of Health, Family Welfare, Medical Education and Research, Government of Jharkhand to better understand the health problems faced by families in the state of Jharkhand. The answers of the interviewees were used to facilitate the design and implementation of a new social protection scheme for the Below Poverty Line population which aims at improving the access of poor families to quality health care services while minimizing the financial burden in case of sickness.
