ILO Flagship Programme on Social Protection Floors

The ILO works on social protection in 136 countries in areas such as design/reform of schemes, legal support, actuarial valuations and national social protection strategies with UN country teams. Additionally, the ILO Global Flagship Programme is mobilizing resources to make social protection floors a national reality in 21 target countries. By joining the ILO’s Flagship programme you can make a significant contribution to SDG 1.3.

- Over 80 development partners gathered in Geneva to share the progress made as part of the ILO's Flagship programme and identify future priorities.
- Additionally, 24 companies participated in the 3rd annual meeting of the ILO's Global Business Network for SPFs on 24 October 2017 in Geneva.
- Members of the International Trade Unions Confederation (ITUC) and the Global Coalition for Social Protection Floors gathered on 24 October 2017 to shape a Social Protection, Freedom and Justice for Workers Network
