Report Launching, 15 May 2015
From June 2013 to January 2015 the UN/Government (UN/G) Social Protection Working Group engaged line ministries, UN agencies, social partners, civil society organizations, academicians and other stakeholders to assess the social protection situation in Mongolia, identify gaps and challenges and draw up policy recommendations that could help establish a comprehensive Social Protection Floor in the country.
The report of this exercise was launched on 15 May 2015. The event was attended by the Vice-Minister for Population Development and Social Protection Mr B.Munkhbaatar, the Vice-Minister for Labour Mr J.Batkhuyag, the UN Resident Coordinator Ms Sezin Sinanoglu, the Director of the ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia Mr Tim De Meyer.
In addition, over 130 guests participated in the event.
