Cambodia Asia and the Pacific 28.02.2025

Description

The initiative will support the integration of NSSF (and/or MoLVT) and social security registration within CamDX. The main focus of the ILO will be to work with the GS NSPC and NSSF to approach enterprises registered under CamDX and promote the registration of respective workers in NSSF. For micro and small enterprises the initiative will explore with Government and social partners the development of comprehensive tools (inspired for instance on the FYB) to support those economic units in terms of business registration and participation in social security. The tools should go beyond the simple registration, but also include access to business development services. ILO’s tools will be adapted to suit the local context and will work facilitate the formalization of micro and small enterprises (these tools can target government or target enterprises or associations). The possibility of the establishment of partnerships with business associations and employers’ representatives will be explored in promoting the formalization of jobs and enterprises.
