100 years of social security: The road to universal social protection
In 2019, the International Labour Organization – the oldest UN specialized agency – celebrates its 100th anniversary. In the run up to the anniversary seven Centenary Initiatives are being implemented – part of a package of activities aimed at equipping the Organization to take up successfully the challenges of its social justice mandate in the future (see the ILO Communication Strategy for the Centenary celebrations). The ILO Social Protection Department is organizing a thematic activity under the ILO's Centenary celebrations (See also the presentation of the strategy). This workspace is the repository where all the preparatory documents will be stored.
