MOHRSS adopted the National Action Plan on Digital Human Resources and Social Security Services in June 2023. It aims to build an integrated, digitalized and intelligent system that supports the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity in human resources and social security services.
ILO's contribution to the outcome
The ILO supported MOHRSS in developing a digital transformation strategy and a data governance action plan for social security administration and services in China in 2022. The ILO facilitated learning from global digital transformation experiences in social security systems in support of China's transformation in line with international best practices. These efforts greatly contributed to the development of the recent national action plan on digital human resources and social security, which was released in June 2023.
