ILO acted as a neutral Chair for the Rana Plaza Coordination Committee (RPCC). The RPCC, which oversees the implementation of the Arrangement, brings together representatives of the Government, the garment industry both locally and internationally, trade unions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
ILO's contribution to the outcome
The ILO provided independent technical advisory support to the RPCC for the design and implementation of the scheme. RBSA funding has contributed to supporting this work and to the achievement of the reported results
