The Government has completed the basic design of a voucher system to facilitate the formalization of daily labourers in agriculture. It aims at making the payment of social security contributions easier to boost the registration of daily workers.

The Government has completed the basic design of a voucher system to facilitate the formalization of daily labourers in agriculture. It aims at making the payment of social security contributions easier to boost the registration of daily workers.
ILO's contribution to the outcome
With the contribution of the GIZ, the ILO is providing technical support for the implementation of a customised instance of an open-source Management Information System (OpenIMIS) adapted to the Moldovan voucher system. This technical support included a conceptual note, business and functional analyses, ICT diagnosis, standard operating procedures and IT development of the customised instance of OpenIMIS. This adaptation and implementation of OpenIMIS to manage the voucher system will strengthen the Ministry's operational capacity to meet the challenges of efficient service delivery to fulfil its mandate.
