Outcome achieved

The new Social security system for private sector workers and their family members adopted by the National Social Security Tripartite Steering Committee in November 2013.

ILO's contribution to the outcome

Office prepared the Social security policy design and the related actuarial valuation providing a framework for the first ever social security system for the private sector workers and their family members in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which were discussed with and adopted by the National Social Security Tripartite Steering Committee.
