Outcome summary

A Single Registry for Social Protection and Harmonized Social Assistance Targeting was adopted

Outcome achieved

The Government enhanced and adopted Single Registry for Social Protection and Harmonized Social Assistance Targeting Tools to adopted disability indicators in March 2021 for use at the Household Listing Stage.

ILO's contribution to the outcome

With the support from GLO/20/09/UNA; UNAIDS UBRAF Funding and in collaboration with World Food Programme, ILO (from August 2020 to March 2021), offered technical support to the State Department on Social Protection to incorporate disability indicators into the Enhanced Single Registry from the household listing stage thus ensuring that Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are identified across all Social Assistance Programs countrywide. an advocacy brief for HIV-sensitive social protection was developed in July 2021 to enhance inclusive social protection programmes.

Gender equality & non-discrimination

CPO deliverables linked to P&B output 8.1 include HIV and Disability responsive social protection to enhance the inclusion of these vulnerable groups in mainstream schemes and towards supporting maternity income protection.
