In February 2021, a Social Security Inquiry exercise was completed and contributed to further debate and actions on Social protection classification within the government budget, social protection data management and the budget Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.ILO's contribution to the outcome
The ILO facilitated a training on social protection data collection and monitoring, and supported the data collection and validation for the Social Security Inquiry exercise, in February 2020. The training brought together 40 participants including 14 women coming from the Ministries in charge of finance and social protection, social protection institutions and programmes, the National Statistics Institution and social partners.
