Some parents can now avail of increased €250 payment to help with childcare in 2023

The Universal Grant is a childcare grant for children in Tusla-registered preschools between the ages of six months and 15 years, reports the Mirror. The benefit has been increased from €0.50 per hour to €1.40 per hour from January 2023 and will be deducted from the total bill parents receive from their childcare facility.
