Tripartite workshops, May 2012
A fact-finding mission was conducted in order to engage all relevant stakeholders in a tripartite discussion on UI. The purpose of the mission also included the opportunity to mitigate misunderstandings that had previously arisen between relevant stakeholders, leading to reach an acceptable degree of consensus on the main features of the scheme to be proposed.
The mission concluded with two regional tripartite workshops taking place place in Sabah and Sarawak, while one national tripartite workshop that was held at Kuala Lumpur.
