Interagency Social Protection Assessment Tools
In 2012, the SPIAC-B decided as one of its first workstream to develop a set of joint interagency tools that provide a coherent framework for analysis of social protection systems at all levels: the system as a whole, scheme/programme level or at the level of concrete delivery mechanisms. The following tools have been finalized:
-
CODI – to analyse the performance of the Social Protection System
-
Social Protection Public Works Programs
-
Food Security and Nutrition tool
-
Social protection identification systems
-
Social Protection Payment systems
The following tools are under development:
-
SPPOT – to evaluate different social protection policy reform options
-
Social Protection Financing
-
Social Cash Transfers
The booth will give an overview of ISPA tools and how to apply them.
The booth is open to all interested parties for an informal discussion on the tools:
-
When and how to apply them?
-
What are their strengths and weaknesses?
-
How can we promote more uptake of the tools?
