Summary (English)

From 2020 to early 2022 the ILO, with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented an income support project in Bangladesh, Cambodia Ethiopia, Indonesia and the Lao Peopleʼs Democratic Republic for workers in the garment sector affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This brief provides a broad overview of the project's design and impact in each of the targeted countries.
