Quelles articulations entre politique de santé et micro-assurance ? Réflexions à partir d'un exemple cambodgien

The reflections made in this article on the possible linkages between health policy and micro-insurance result from a report GRET recently published on the same subject, on the basis of the results of a micro-health insurance project that it has been developing in Cambodia since 1998.Halfway through the pilot phase planned in 2002 to set the micro-insurance project, this synthesis of what was learnt at this stage of the project is part of the same debate: it traces the evolution of the project to a partnership with Cambodian public health structures and highlights the elements still to clarify on the possible links between micro-health insurance and public health policy.

Les réflexions faites dans cet article au sujet des liens possibles entre politique de santé et micro-assurance est issue d'un rapport que le Gret vient de publier sur le sujet à partir du projet de microassurance santé qu'il développe au Cambodge depuis 1998. À mi-parcours de la phase pilote définie en 2002 pour le projet micro-assurance, cette syn-thèse des acquis à ce stade s'inscrit dans ce débat : elle retrace l'évolution du projet vers un partenariat avec les structures de santé publiques cambodgiennes et souligne les éléments encore à creuser, pour clarifier les articulations possibles entre micro-assurance santé et politique de santé publique.
