Summary (English)

The China Development Report is a comprehensive research report compiled and released regularly by China Development Research Foundation (CDRF), based on its efforts.

The report touches up themes of importance to China's economic and social development. This 2008/09 report is titled Constructing a Developmental Social Welfare System for All, which proposes to set up a social welfare system adapted to China's particular context and stage of development, and provides policy recommendations on the pension system, education, healthcare, employment, housing and minimum living allowance.
