Summary (English)

The present annual progress report covers the activities undertaken by the Project Building National Floors of Social Protection in Southern Africa from 1 January to 31 December 2014.

It describes the context (both at Regional and National level) within which the activities took place and the resulting main developments and achievements of the Project during the year. It presents the Project status in relation to the immediate outcomes proposed and an analysis of the project developments in relation to the various outputs. Based on the Annual Workplan it describes extensively the activities carried out in relation to outputs and outcomes. 

Further, the report discusses some challenges that were identified during the first year of implementation and associated remedial strategies used to address these challenges.
