Summary (English)
The "Plate-forme des promoteurs" is a free autonomous and non political grouping of organizations promoting mutual health organizations in Cameroun; it is also a place to exchange information and experiences and where activities and means are pooled together. It was created in 2005 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. It is regulated by a founding statement.The objectives of the platform are: to exchange informations and experiences; to strengthen capacities through training, studies and research; to harmonize strategies of intervention as far as possible; to identify and conduct common and coordinated actions; and, to advocate for the promotion of mutual health organizations.

La Plate-forme des promoteurs est un regroupement libre, autonome et apolitique des organismes promoteurs de mutuelles de santé au Cameroun. C'est un cadre d'échanges d'information et d'expériences, de mise en commun des actions et des moyens. Créée en février 2005 à Yaoundé, elle est régie par une charte constitutive.
Les objectifs de la Plate-forme sont d'échanger les informations et les expériences; de renforcer les capacités à travers la formation, les études et recherches; d'harmoniser les stratégies d'intervention dans la mesure du possible; d'identifier les actions communes; d'organiser les actions concertées; d'assurer le plaidoyer pour la promotion des mutuelles de santé.
