Summary (English)
This document presents the outcome of the discussions of the Global Social Protection Week, held under the auspices of the ILO from 25 to 28 November 2019 in Geneva. It confirms that social security is a human right and an investment with high returns in economic and social development. It includes a set of actions to guarantee universal comprehensive, adapted and sustainable social protection systems that provide adequate levels of benefits for all.
