Summary (English)

This document is a condensed version of the study with the same title. It basically consists of chapters of the introduction, conclusions, and recommendations of the study. The study can be found in Spanish in the online library of the Fundación Friedrich Ebert (www.fes-mexico. org/publicaciones).

Based on reliable statistics and relevant literature, this study presents evidence and the performance of private pension systems in nine Latin American countries. Based on the conclusions of this analysis, a series of recommendations are presented.
