Summary (English)

Linda Sarmento Manjazi lives in rural southern Mozambique with her two teenage daughters. She makes a living from odd jobs, and relies on social benefits from the National Institute of Social Action of Mozambique to cover her basic needs. This short documentary was launched at the International Social Protection Conference that took place on 14 October 2021 in Maputo during the Social Protection Week, and was presented to over 40 members of Mozambique's National Assembly, as well as other national and international stakeholders. It was produced through the UNJP on Social Protection, funded by the Netherlands, Sweden and FCDO.
