Relatório de Avaliação Intermédia da Estratégia Nacional de Segurança Social Básica (2016-2024)
Summary (English)
This report assesses the degree of implementation of Mozambique's National Strategy for Basic Social Security 2016-2024 (ENSSB II) in its four intervention axes over a five-year period that goes from February 2016 to January 2021. The document analyses the efficiency and effectiveness regarding social impacts of the benefits and the implementation of the programmes, the factors that affected the degree and pace of implementation and the strategy's continued relevance in an evolving context. The evaluation report also presents a series of recommendations for moving forward with the implementation of the ENSSB II in the remaining period of validity of the strategy until the end of 2024.

Este relatório visa avaliar o grau de implementação da Estratégia Nacional de Segurança Social Básica 2016-2024 (ENSSB II) de Moçambique em seus quatro eixos de intervenção durante o período de cinco anos, compreendido entre Fevereiro de 2016 e Janeiro de 2021. O documento analisa a eficiência e a eficácia no que diz respeito aos impactos sociais das prestações e a implementação dos programas, os factores que afectaram o grau e o ritmo de implementação e a sua relevância contínua num contexto em evolução. O relatório de avaliação também apresenta uma série de recomendações para avançar com a implementação da ENSSB II no período remanescente de vigência da estratégia até o final de 2024.
