The fight against poverty and social exclusion in Portugal. Experiences from the National Programme of Fight against Poverty
Summary (English)
This study aims to describe and analyse the Portuguese experience in the fight against poverty and social exclusion. It provides the theoretical and historical background to the creation of the National Programme for the Fight against Poverty (NPFAP) in Portugal. No attempt is made to evaluate the NPFAP, but rather to identify and illustrate its methodological principles and implementation strategies based on the analysis of concrete projects, the lessons from which serve as a reference to other countries and situations.
