Summary (English)
Provides an assessment of the future financial developments of the NSSF; offers recommendations for strengthening its financial system, including the setting of the contribution rate at an appropriate level; and reviews the financial implications of possible new forms of benefit provision in case of employment injury and health care. The report stresses the need for the authorities to adopt certain important measures to ensure the viability and public credibility of the NSSF, including reforms to the benefit provisions, changes to the financial management and strengthening administration and institutional arrangements.The report contains the recommendations made with regard to the provision to allow for the partial refund of members contributions in the event of a member becoming unemployed.
