Summary

The third edition of the Statistical Bulletin on Social Protection brings key statistical data on social protection coverage and expenditure including both contributory and non-contributory schemes, as well as a dedicated section including figures regarding the national social protection response to the COVID-19 crisis. This publication involved several national social protection and statistics institutions, and benefited from technical and financial support from the ILO through the ACTION/Portugal project. It was launched on 15 October 2021 during Mozambique’s Social Protection Week.
