This module introduces the difference between monitoring and evaluation, then the three aspects of a health micro-insurance scheme (HMIS) operations that need to be monitored and evaluated including the indicators to be measured an the tools to be used. These include basically the monthly monitoring record, the management chart and the financial ratios chart. The last part of the module presents different guides on how to assess the quality of health services.
