Examines the relationship between ageing and gender equality, using an innovative conceptual approach and different indicators to facilitate its measurement in terms of social security, health and social services. Identifies and proposes tools for analysis and action with regard to public institutions, and for detailed examination of the guarantees needed to ensure equality in old age.
