Résumé (anglais)

This flyer presents the ASEAN certificate course on “Social Protection: Assessment, Costing and Beyond” organized jointly by the ILO Decent Work Team and the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University From the 15th to the 19th October 2012. 

This one week course saw the participation of technical staff from relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions, worker and employer organizations, the academia, UN agencies and other development partners involved in the assessment, design, costing and implementation of social protection and social security programmes within the ASEAN region.

The course enabled participants to better understand the concepts of social security and the Social Protection Floor, to learn the main steps involved in conducting an Assessment Based National Dialogue (ABND) exercise and to gain expertise on designing and costing social protection schemes.
