Résumé (anglais)

This brief presents the South African's experience on promoting development, poverty reduction, and social inclusion for isolated people. It focuses on the work of the Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP) for socially excluded people in rural and semi-urban areas of South Africa, which has considerably improved people’s effective access to existing social services and benefits.
