Summary (English)

Opportunity International's experience in offering centralised insurance expertise to a network of MFIs provides valuable lessons for the promotion of microinsurance. With access to this expertise, OI's implementing partners have developed insurance at a significant rate and in ways that would not have been possible if the MFIs were operating on their own.
