Improving social health protection for refugees
A presentation of key lessons learned during the ILO Centenary Event “Social Protection Week”.

Lessons learned from the partnership over the past years were compiled and disseminated during the Global Social Protection Week in November 2019 and the associated ILO cost sharing commitment was met. The compilation of lessons learned fed into the review of UNHCR operational guidelines, which will be replaced by joint guidelines for both UNHCR and ILO staff in 2020. A first draft was prepared through the project and translated into French and Spanish to allow for a wide dissemination and immediate use in joint ILO-UNHCR projects (i.e. PROSPECTS, joint EU-ILO-UNHCR project in Central America).
