The UNPDF Sub-Working Group on Social Protection Floor (SPF) was established on 23 May 2011 by UN agencies members of the Working Group on Social Services (ILO, UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNRC, UN Women, WHO, WFP...). The group was set within the United Nations Partnership for Development Framework (UNPDF) scheme, a guide for UN agencies in Indonesia to think, plan and work together in support of specific and strategic national priorities.

The group's main objectives are to:

• Develop a Matrix on UN agencies initiative on SPF;
• Participate in the Assessment Based National Dialogue (ABND) Exercise on social security and social protection, conducted under the stewardship of the ILO;
