information on the various MDG task forces/groups active in the UN system:

• UN task team post 2015: led by UNDP/DESA. Concerned with the whole of the post 2015 agenda. WHO is represented on this one. This group will prepare a report for the SG in May.
• MDG task force:  Led by UNDG, organizing country consultations on the post 2015 agenda as well as later in 2012 a series of global thematic consultations, WHO probably involved for the health sector
• MDG Africa Working Group: Under the aegis of the Deputy Secretary General. They just have released two papers, see attached
• MDG gap task force: focusing on MDG 8, led by UNDESA.
• UN Inter agency expert group IAEG, on statistics, led by the UN Statistics division, not clear where this group stands at this point in time
• Focal points group on Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, taken on by UNDESA. Related to Rio+20. Dealing with future types or frame of (new) goals.
