Objective

This module provides a general overview of the good-practices guide, its objectives and scope, its structure, the circumstances in which the guide can be used, as well as its relevance and limitations. The content of the subsequent modules is briefly explained.

Take away message

The guide can be used as a self-learning tool, as a resource package to deliver trainings, or as a guide for an organization implementing a Single Window Service or any other national mechanism intended to deliver social protection and employment programmes, monitor existing social protection and employment services, and/or coordinate national and sub-national stakeholders for the implementation of social protection floors.

The guide can be used to identify good practices and innovative approaches which could inspire policy makers in designing and implementing mechanisms to deliver public services in their countries.

It is structured following the life cycle of an implementation project.
