IT System Design
As a partner of P4H (providing for health), the ILO has been provided technical assistance to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) to implement the Social Health Insurance Scheme in Cambodia by 2013.
The following activities had been implemented since early 2012:
1-Mission team from National Health Security Office, Thailand:
On 11-13 June 2012, an IT team from National Health Security Office (NHSO), Health Insurance Research Office, Thailand had their first mission to meet National Social Security Fund (NSSF) team and relevant agencies such as Ministry of Health, Ministry of Planning, URC, GRET-SKY, GRET-Health Insurance Project (HIP) and visit national hospital in Phnom Penh. On 25-28 June 2012, the second mission had been organised to joined visit NSSF branch Office, provincial hospital, referral district hospital, employer representatives in Siem Reap province and a working session for NSSF staff in Phnom Penh. 2- Recommendation on IT Project Design of the NSSF
On 4-16 February 2013, Mr. Jean Milliez had been assigned as an international expert to provide recommendations to the NSSF Health Insurance Scheme, as part of the cooperation agreement signed between the ILO and GIP SPSI. Find the below link for details:

3- Case based payment system of NSSF
As a part of agreement between the ILO and GIP SPSI, a support mission was conducted from 27 February-07 March 2013, to meet the request sent to the ILO by the Cambodian Ministry of Labour, to work on classification of case group and how to fund hospital with a case based payment system in Cambodia.
